I recently cancelled a Nov. 9th cruise. I received on October 10th an email from Royal Caribbean that the excursions would be cancelled & payments refunded via credit card. I have sent 2 emails regarding the refund. To date, there is no follow-up response from them. Any Tips?
Rita, I am so sorry for the delay in this response. For some reason, I didn’t receive an alert for your comment. I’m sure by now your issue has been resolved but my only thought would be to call the cruise line directly and only use email as written confirmation. I’m sorry that you had to cancel your cruise. Hopefully you’ll be able to reschedule for the near future. Have a great day! – Jill
Hi Jillian we will be going on the explorer of the sea to alaska in July. I am anxious about what to pack for clothes. Any advise you have would be greatly appreciated.
Yes! First, you will love it! Be prepared for the outdoor areas while sailing to be unbelievably cold. The first afternoon in Seattle will fool you then after dinner they roll out the carts of heavy coats and try to sell them…and people buy them. Alaska will be quite mild that time of year. Jeans/T-shirt with jacket to layer is best. I’d pack a hooded jacket instead of an umbrella -just more practical. Sweatshirts and layers for onboard and a heavy jacket for sightseeing while at sea. Binoculars are a must! Sneakers and a pair of waterproof hiking type boots are great as well. Email me directly if you have any specific questions. I’d be happy to help. I’m excited for you!
Thank you!! I am an so looking forward to going next month!!
